My sister has a knack for whipping up quick chocolate treats. Also she has diabetes. So here is her one-minute microwave chocolate frosting. No double boiler required.
I used this as a filling for my Super Easy Cookie Layer Cake, but it can also be used to frost cakes, cupcakes, your fingers, etc. If you want more of a thin glaze consistency, add one or two tablespoons of butter to the recipe. Happy frosting!
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 6 Tbsp salted butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- pinch salt
